Kids Week
Kids Week returns to Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park from Tuesday February 17, 2026 – Friday, February 20, 2026 Kids take over the skating rink and can join a free skate lesson* with our favorite coaches, watch junior skaters perform on the ice, and skate around to music from iconic kids’ shows and movies. The fun continues off the ice with themed activities and workshops each day from 9:30am-noon.
Most programs are designed for kids ages 4-6, but all ages are welcome!
*Kids must be able to stand and skate on their own on the ice for the free skate lesson
Kids Week kicks off with an exciting commemoration of the Winter Games, adding onto the Winter Village’s month-long programming. Kids can pay a visit to the iceless Curling lanes during our kids-only hours, add to the peaks and valleys of a miniature snowboarding course in Overlook, or craft their very own torch perfect for a gold medalist.
The second day of Kids Week takes kids back to medieval times with activities fit for kings and queens! Start off the morning by dressing the part, with crafting your very own crown and sword. Musician Erin Lee will lead a storytime featuring favorite stories about princesses, dragons, and knights. Finish the day by writing your own proclamation to share with your kingdom or gather the courage to try a catapult on the Fountain Terrace.
With spring on the horizon, Earth Day encourages families to learn more about the planet and how to care for it. Kids can create crafts using recycled materials and take part in an interactive performance by eco-rapper Hila the Earth, while parents can participate in a kid and baby stuff swap in Overlook to trade gently used items for kids.
NYC’s most famous food takes center stage for the final day of Kids Week! Make your very own clay pizza in Overlook, and even take it on a delivery around the Park to one of our kiosks. Kids can participate in a larger-than-life pizza poll in Overlook to rank their favorite toppings and pizza shapes. If you’re feeling hungry by the end of the event, visit the Casa Toscana kiosk in Bryant Park for pizza available for purchase.
From 9:30am-noon, kids take over The Rink! Enjoy complimentary skate aids during the morning session and a Rink soundtrack curated just for kids. Please note that admission to the rink is free; visitors have the option to bring their own skates if they have them or rent skates for a fee.
If your child dreams of gliding across the ice, this is their chance!
During Kids Week, skaters can participate in a free 25-minute group skate lesson each morning. Lessons are available on a first come, first served basis. Interested students should reserve a skate time and can sign-up for a lesson on-site once they’ve been admitted to The Rink. Please note that skate rentals are not included in the lesson.
