August 14, 2025, 1:00pm–3:00pm

Join us at the Art Cart for free workshops all summer long.

Students will create a three-dimensional paper sculpture that can be viewed from all angles. They will learn basic sculpture terms, shape, and form and experiment with different paper-shaping methods (twisting, curling, rolling, bending, etc.). The lesson will be inspired by Liu Shiming's work and scenes in Bryant Park of everyday life, focusing on creating sculptures with strong, stable bases that can stand up independently.
