Join us for this special yoga festival on Saturday, June 13!
9:30am: Lawn and activity tents open
10am: First yoga class begins
11:15am: Second yoga class begins
1pm: Activity tents close
Yoga Day is a festival-style celebration of wellness. The day starts with a high energy yoga class with Tootsie Olan and concludes with a relaxing flow with Kristin McGee.
Our activity tents open at 9:30am for guests to enjoy throughout the morning, etiher before, after, or between yoga classes.
We will also have a few food vendors on site so you can refuel after your workout.
Besides the two yoga classes, you can participate in the following activities located in the white tents on the north and south of the lawn gravel:
- Seated meditation with silent disco headphones
- Henna artists
- Mala bracelet making
- Mandala drawing and coloring
- Intention card and affirmation station
10am-10:45am: Tootsie Olan
Tootsie Olan is a choreographer/dancer/yogi/global fitness pioneer +
motivational speaker working in television, theater, concert stages + the
fitness industry. Tootsie is the creator of the NYC-born cardio class,
danceFLOORED- a movement that became a movement, where packed rooms fill with all levels. From Broadway dancers to never-dancers, all become addicted to the euphoria of the high energy but totally accessible movement. She is an RYT certified yogi, making yoga-haters into yoga-lovers. Tootsie leads her proprietary meditation, yoga + dance retreats domestically + internationally and created Tootsie Olan Digital Studio, her online/on-demand studio that made its way into 11 countries. Her work has been seen on MTV, HBO, USA, WB, UPN, Metro, ESPN, NBC, The Today Show, Trina Turk, Athleta, Lululemon + The Wall Street Journal. She graduated Cornell University, is mom to three and wife to one. She is a sweat-loving catalyst for personal change + generally hungry for all that life will give her.
11:15am-noon: Kristin McGee
Kristin McGee is a nationally recognized yoga and Pilates teacher, speaker, mompreneur, and author. With over three decades of experience in the fitness and wellness space, she has had a continuous roster of high-profile celebrities, pioneered the launch of Peloton’s yoga and Pilates program, and recently branched out on her own to launch Kristin McGee Movement—a digital platform offering on-demand yoga, Pilates, and mindfulness practices designed to empower every body and every level. Most recently Kristin joined TONAL as a pilates instructor.
Like any other Bryant Park Yoga class, we kindly request you bring a yoga mat or towel and water bottle.
Registration is required for participation in the classes. All classes and activities are free!
