Yoga with Kim Bauman

Tuesday morning classes
September 2, 2025, 10:00am–11:00am

This summer, our free Tuesday morning yoga class is back on the Upper Terrace! Please register for each class and bring your own mat (the park does not provide yoga mats). We also recommend bringing water and a towel. Our yoga classes are appropriate for all levels of practice.

Kim has been a Yoga & Meditation Teacher since 2009, and founded a social justice nonprofit, One Love Movement, in 2011 upon realizing her purpose in life, to forward change for people that don’t have a voice. Kim was once an orphan in Korea, put into the foster care system, then adopted by an American family. Kim's journey into purpose started when she went on a volunteer humanitarian trip to Haiti after the devastating 2010 earthquake, struggling with the heartbreak of being no different than all of the orphans she had met, yet she was picked for a better life. Kim has her 500 hour yoga teacher certification and her Chopra Meditation certification. Career highlights: Fiduciary/Sponsor for a shelter in India with 22 kids, Chopra Yoga Teacher Trainer, Vuori yoga teacher, meeting Michelle Obama over Zoom for advocacy work, Organizer of the largest charity yoga event in the country with 1,000’s attending, Speaker & Yoga Teacher for Deepak Chopra's Global Meditation, Nominee for Baseball Hall of Famer Tony Gwynn Inspiration Award, Yoga teacher for 3x Gold Olympian Kerri Walsh-Jennings’s volleyball events, Production for TEDx Donovon Prison in San Diego, lululemon ambassador for 6 years, Production for Oscar winning Film Producer on major motion picture movies, Interviewed: Jason Mraz, Trevor Hall, Michael Franti, Colton Underwood.
